Admission to Classes up to IX

Candidates desirous of admission will be tested through written test in English, Maths and Hindi (for classes Prep to III) and English Maths (for classes IV onwards). Only the candidates who qualify the written test will be called for personal interview. The list of such candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board. Name and Date of Birth as recorded in previous school’s leaving certificate/affidavit/birth certificate as entered in the registration form by parents/guardians will be considered final. On the basis of overall performance of candidates, the Principal will select students for admission. At the time of admission, the student must produce a Transfer Certificate from the school last attended. In the case of students for admission to Play Centre, Nursery and Preparatory ,a Birth Certificate from the municipal corporation or Affidavit showing the date of birth is to be produced at the time of registration. Students coming from schools affiliated to other boards will be admitted on the merit of their transfer certificate. Students coming from outside schools, affiliated to other boards will have to get their Transfer Certificate countersigned by the District Education Officer. Those who come from schools having January to December as academic year and apply for admission in the middle of the school year are not eligible for promotion of our academic year.

Admission to Class XI

The admission is subject to screening of all the students by the Principal. Regularity in attendance, consistent academic performance as well as good conduct & behavior are essential. The school shall fix up eligibility norms for admission to Science & Commerce Streams. Only those eligible, will be considered for admission. The decision of the Principal in matters of admission shall be final.

General Rule

  1. 1.) National Academy follows a uniform admission policy for all its Schools, which is purely based on merit.
  2. 2.) Admission for all classes up to Standard IX for the ensuing academic year, will commence from 01 December and close by 31 January, next year.
  3. 3.) New admissions for Standard X and XII are not generally entertained, as the students have to appear for the Board Examination, in that academic year.
  4. 4.) In case of Standard XI, the admission will commence immediately on announcement of results of Standard X and will be purely based on the cut off marks specified separately for Science and Commerce streams, as decided by the Management, from time to time.
  5. 5.) Entrance Tests are conducted for students from Standard I to Standard IX on specified dates. In case of Pre-Primary classes, admission is granted after an interview of the child with the Parents.
  6. 6.) Registration of names does not guarantee admission.
  7. 7.) A student is considered admitted only after allotment of his/her Roll No., which is obtained after paying admission, tuition and allied fees as specified.
  8. Middle session admission is an exception rather than a rule.
  9. 8.) The decision of the Management on admission will be final.
